TEMPORALITY is a book about time. It is a non-linear research based book exploring philosophical, scientific, and psychological perspectives on time. The project aims to make complex theories more approachable by presenting them as short, digestible snippets rather than dense academic texts. Through this fragmented structure, readers can navigate ideas freely, drawing their own connections without the intimidation of traditional heavy theory.

The book is designed for curious readers aged 25–40 with diverse backgrounds in fields such as design, entrepreneurship, and technology. They seek concise, accessible knowledge that can be consumed in short moments - yet still expanded through references and context if desired.

Content & Structure

The book is divided into three main chapters:

History
Philosophical viewpoints and cultural interpretations across eras and civilizations.

Science
Contemporary theories, quantum mechanics, and physical properties of time.

Psychology
The human relationship with time; perception, memory, and experience.

Cross-references guide readers between sections, creating a web of interconnected ideas and pointing to external sources for deeper exploration.

Design Concept

Time is fluid, elusive, and constantly in motion;
and the visual language reflects this concept throughout the book. From "eroded" imagery, to unique typographic layouts and even a "hidden" page flip animation - the design is all about times movement, progression and effect.

Cover Design

The cover features 4 bold geometric blocks wrapping around the cover with diffused textures, symbolizing the tension between rigid structure and temporal decay. The book title is printed in clear, blind Spot UV, revealing itself more or less depending on perspective, also leaning towards the view of time as an elusive concept.

Layout & Grid

The books grid is dynamic, with a changing number of columns and "breather" pages with bold typography or edge-to-edge imagery, creating a fluid and dynamic journey through the book.

Image Making

Like in most of my other project - I am all in for total design, meaning that most images in the book were either completely original works of mine (Photoshop & Blender 3D), photographed by me, or manipulated images from other sources.
